Pictures from Hudson's first week

It's hard to believe it has already been a week since we welcomed our little man and, even harder to believe how much he has grown already! We took him for his first checkup on Tuesday and he weighed an even 8 pounds, he had a little jaundice so we had another check up on Thursday and in those 2 days he had gained 8 oz... That's right a half a pound in 2 days! He has also grown an inch taller since he was born. He has been holding his head up on his own since he was about 10 hours old and he continues to get stronger and hold it up longer every day. Nate is a great daddy, he is so proud of his little clone. Sadie isn't quite sure what to think at this point. I think she is finally getting used to him being here and she's very curious about him.

Hudson has had a very full first week; spending time with his Grandma Arjean and Grandma Judy, Great-Grandma Twitchell, and Aunt Ashlee. He took his first trip to the beach, and to the outdoor mall in Carlsbad...slept through both excursions! He is a wonderful little spirit and has already brought so much joy into our home. I feel so blessed to be his mom!
